>> Learning Exchange

The National Youth Employment Coalition (NYEC), with support from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, is convening teams of local and state leaders for cross-site meetings focused on developing expertise and building capacity to re-engage youth who are struggling in or have dropped out of high school and connect them to education and career opportunities.

NYEC Learning Exchanges offer local and state leader teams an opportunity to step out of their day-to-day context and be part of an intimate gathering of no more than 30 participants to:

  • Learn about exemplary policies, practices, and programs
  • Participate in peer-to-peer exchanges with their counterparts in other cities and states
  • Engage in stustantive policy discussions with national experts on secondary school reform, youth development, and workforce development.
