ACT 2012 National Curriculum Survey

The Survey asks educators about what they teach in their courses and how important they feel various topics are for students to know to be succcessful in the courses and future courses. The survey also targeted policy implications on preparing for higher standards. Queried educators included those teaching at the middle school level all the way through the postscondary level. |

This report, released by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) in January 2013, finds a decline in the percentage of first-year undergradaute students who reported enrolling in remedial courses. Moreover, remedial course-taking rates declined among stundets of color, but they continue to be higher than those of their white peers. |
